Getting started with Android

Download the free My Climate by Bonaire app from the Google Play Store

Sign into your user (sign up with your email if you do not have an account) using your email address and password

Tap on Start Pairing and follow the instructions within the app

When requested, tap on the button redirecting you to Wi-Fi settings. Alternatively, from the home screen on your Android phone, either go to Settings > Wi-Fi or Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, or swipe down from the top of the screen and hold down on the icon

Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on

Select “MyClimate”

When prompted, enter the password “MyClimate1701”

You should see “Internet may not be available” under MyClimate, and at the top of your display

Go back to the My Climate by Bonaire app

Once connection to the Black Box has been established, the app will ask you to enter your home network’s SSID and password. Tapping on the SSID field will display a list of nearby access points that you can tap to autocomplete. Note that both SSID and Password are case sensitive.

The app will now ask you to connect to the home Wi-Fi network. Follow instructions of Step 4 to connect to your Home Wi-Fi.

Your app will connect through the Wi-Fi and then will switch to the cloud. This process will take up to 5 minutes

You can now control your BONAIRE Gas Heater, Evaporative Cooler or Dual Cycle Refrigerated Cooler from your Android phone
